Description: Gottlieb Royal Flush pinball. Same game as Gottlieb Card Whiz, just different number of players (4 players versus 2 players). Gottlieb sold this game design in the two flavors, though they are essentially the exact same game (with slight artwork differences). The 2 player version (Card Wiz) had a lower price than the 4 player (Royal Flush), and was marketed to game operators with less money to spend. Similar card concept to Gottlieb Jacks Open (1 player). Used a bank of 9 drop targets, mounted at an angle. One pop bumper and one kickout hole, two slingshots, two 3" flippers. A modification of the Gottlieb Jacks Open playfield designs (I like the Jacks Open design a bit more, but this pinball is pretty fun too!) They made 12,250 Gottlieb Royal Flush pinballs, and 3250 Gottlieb Card Whiz pinball machines.
